ABOUT ARMCHAIR VISION
Armchair Vision provides eyecare services in the comfort of your own home for those who cannot visit an Opticians without assistance. In the overwhelming majority of cases this service will be provided free of charge, under the NHS, for both the visit and the actual eye examination.

David began working in the Optical profession over 30 years ago. Over this time he has gained a vast experience. His specialised areas are spectacle dispensing and contact lens fitting. With his team of experienced optometrists he thrives on delivering personal tailored care to all his patients, either in their own home or in residential/nursing homes.
We provide:
- Thorough eye examinations within your own home and if spectacles are required, we offer a wide-ranging selection of frames, including the leading brands from which to choose, all at affordable prices. Prices start from only £50 complete.
- Our visiting opticians are fully qualified and experienced in conducting eye tests in the home.
- In addition, we also conduct eye tests in residential homes and are sensitive to the needs of their residents.
- The comprehensive service includes the final fitting and adjustment of the spectacles.
- Armchair Vision is an independent private company offering a more flexible and personal service.
